NOSE RESHAPING IN LAHORE PAKISTAN
Why Rhinoplasty?
There are physical and psychological reasons to choose rhinoplasty.
Do you ever look in the mirror self-consciously and wish your nose was a different shape? Do you wish your nose was smaller and less bulging? Do you have a large nose, pointy nose, crooked nose, or hump on the bridge?
You are not alone. For many people, the nose is a source of focus and concern, poor self-esteem, anxiety, and sometimes even embarrassment. For others, the nasal structure makes it difficult to breathe. Your breathing may be stuffy, congested, or you may have sinus problems. Either way, you don’t have to let your quality of life suffer because you are unhappy with your nose’s appearance or function.
Rhinoplasty can fix many unflattering nasal features. Rhinoplasty, commonly referred to as a nose job, is the surgical solution that can permanently reshape your nose, improve breathing and reduce congestion, and boost your confidence.
Do I Need a Nose Job or Revision Rhinoplasty?
Improve your entire facial aesthetic.
If you’re dissatisfied with the appearance of your nose, rhinoplasty can help you achieve the look you want, whether that’s a more refined, smaller, or straighter nose. If you suffer from severe congestion or discomfort from your nose, rhinoplasty may help make breathing easier and help your sinuses function better.
If you’ve already undergone rhinoplasty one or more times, but are not satisfied with the results, you may be a good candidate for revision rhinoplasty. It should be noted that revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than an initial rhinoplasty, as there is typically less cartilage to work with after excisions have been made in the first rhinoplasty.
A nose job can be performed on men and women of all ages; however, the nose has to be fully developed before undergoing this surgery. Good candidates for rhinoplasty are also patients that have realistic goals, as nose surgery cannot guarantee perfection.
What Are the Benefits of Rhinoplasty?
A nose job that fits your aesthetic and medical needs.
By refining and reshaping the nose, rhinoplasty provides both functional and cosmetic benefits. You may experience more efficient and easier breathing, reduced congestion, and increased comfort. Rhinoplasty can also boost your self-esteem by improving not only your nose itself but also your overall facial aesthetic.
Common issues patients seek to correct include:
- Overly large, wide, or small noses
- Nasal bumps or humps on the bridg
- Crooked or misshapen noses
- Poorly defined noses
- Uneven nostrils
- Prior nasal trauma
- Deviated septums or enlarged turbinates (the bones, vessels, and tissue within your nasal passageway)
- Difficulty breathing due to a deviated septum
- Sinus problems
How Is Rhinoplasty Performed?
surgeon will make incisions either externally between the nostrils (“open” rhinoplasty) or internally concealed within the nose (“closed” rhinoplasty). The chosen technique depends on your needs and will be discussed before surgery with your best interest in mind.
A successful rhinoplasty surgery consists of several steps:
- You will undergo a one-on-one detailed and unhurried consultation .
- On the day of the surgery, anesthesia or sedation will be administered for your comfort and safety.
- The incision is made (open vs. closed).
- The skin is raised from the incisions allowing the surgeon to restructure the nose.
- Your nasal plastic surgeon will also reshape your cartilage, carving, and resetting bones as needed, and using cartilage grafts to change the bone structure.
- Any raised skin is lowered, and the incisions are closed.
- Tape and a custom plastic splint are gently applied to maintain the shape of your new nose as it heals.
What Is the Recovery From Rhinoplasty Like?
Return to your day-to-day activities in seven to 10 days.
You will have a splint on your nose the first few days to ensure it heals properly, but most patients quickly return to work and routine activities with a combination of ice packs and proper rest. Though you can return to normal activities, you’ll need to take precautions like sleeping with your head elevated to promote optimal healing.
After a full year of healing, the reshaping of your nose should be completely noticeable. Rhinoplasty is one of the few plastic surgeries with relatively permanent results; however, the quality of the skin will continue to age.
